The CHAT social bowling session at Luneside and Rosebank Bowling Club has moved from Thursday mornings to Monday mornings, starting on Monday 3rd November.  The session will run from 10am until 12.15pm.  This move of day will initially be over the winter months but if it leads to increased numbers and/or participants prefer a Monday it could become a permanent change for 2026.

The green will still be open for social bowling on Thursday mornings but you will need to go with a bowling club member (eg John Weedy).

CHAT on Mondays will hopefully involve bowling but if weather conditions are such that bowling is not possible, the clubhouse will be open for socialising and other activities such as snooker, darts, table tennis and board games.  It will also provide a Warm Space and light refreshments will be provided. Newcomers to Bowling or LMH most welcome.

Our regular Friday Elevenses can be pretty noisy with over 30 plus people chatting away; this can put some members off particularly those with hearing difficulties. As such we host a Quiet Elevenses on a Monday in The Studio where peace, quiet chat, tea/coffee and perhaps a game can be had. Why not come along and give it a go?

Our fabulous workshop contains all the tools necessary to build and restore all sorts of products. We have made over 100 bird boxes, gates, restored all manner of furniture, and have a great camaraderie amongst our attendees. We always have a brew and toast around 11am, followed by lunch at 12.30 when we chat and solve the world's problems!

If you don't know how to use the various tools then we can teach you and, when confident you're safe, let you loose to either build your own thing, or join in and help others make items we can sell to raise funds for our charity.
