The day didn't start well with John suffering from the effects of a flu jab so David and David ran the stall throughout the day, accompanied by Nigel whose son was running an adjacent stall. The stall showed a great LMH banner, a large number of wood products made throughout the crafting events run during the summer, together with some donated by David S. Together with a split-screen demonstration of the LMH website we looked a 'professional' organisation.
We had a reasonable number of visitors, made 2 sales of breadboards and spoke to a number of people wanting to know about LMH. Two men expressed an interest in coming along to future events and we hope to see them at our next 'elevenses' next Friday. We also met a wood turner, Malcolm Smith, who very kindly offered to come and present a session on wood turning to us in the New Year. We met and chatted to a lot of the other stall holders and we believe it was, overall, a success.
